Cultural Landscapes Research Group: the research
focuses on large scale, usually abandoned industrial, mining and agricultural
areas, which require architectural intervention as part of the reclamation
process. The research is carried out by fieldworks and student participation,
the locations are the Somló Hill, the Borsod Region (especially Rudabánya and
the Esztramos Hill), the Stud Farm in Mezőhegyes, the world of small farms in
the Great Plain of Hungary, and the Upper Nyárád Region in Transylvania
(especially Mikháza/Călugăreni), and certain Middle Eastern and African
locations are studied as well.
